we have returned from london. we had an amazing trip. an update to come soon. just wanted to let you know we are still alive. just getting over some colds.

i just can't decide on these blog colors...

oh happy (christmas) day

i come at you live from an intense and boring game (to me) of risk. matt got it from traci for christmas and corey, kel and dad braved it to play with matt.

as of now dad, kel and matt are still in it.


corey has been enjoying his coffee...


and threatening matt to be nice to kel with his new air soft gun (dad got them for all the boys).


and matt's staying strong though he feels fatigued.


and traci and i have occupied ourselves by taking pictures.


and eating cookies.


and reading up on london.


by the way, i need to go and pack still.


and mom has been fixing chipped plates and stuff.


and i realized that this is what the tree actually looks like when i don't have my glasses on.


overall, it has been a very happy christmas. i think matt has been most excited about his presents. his faces have been priceless. and matt made me (with the help of isaac) a tv stand which i love! i will post a picture when we return from our trip.

sorry for the lack of post last week. i even forgot to do my photo of the week! but, i had good reason. we moved. only down one floor, but there was still a lot to be done. and throw in photography jobs and christmas shopping...wow mom. and we are now looking forward for the soon-to-be witters to move into our old apartment and be our neighbors!


and i now you all were looking forward to matt's post, but he's been busy eating cheese and stuff. soon.


well, it is almost a week until us and the greenslades fly off to london. sarah and i have been busy planning. and just last week, we decided to go to brussels for the day. that's in belgium if you didn't know. matt says it's beautiful there this time of year. how he knows this, i don't know. but, i do hope we eat waffles while we are there. p.s. sarah, we must go to the restaurant above while we are in london. i remember where it is. mmm...treacle sponge.

ange and traci were giving me some good ideas for end of the year blog posts earlier today. maybe i will get to them. i don't know why they just don't start their own blogs.

christmas trivia-if you received all of the gifts in the song "the twelve days of christmas", how many presents would you receive? whoever gets is right gets a kiss on the cheek from me.

a few weeks ago, ange gave me lots of ideas for blog posts. so, thanks to her, we will hopefully have some weekly topics. one will be 'photo of the week.' so, here is this weeks...

last week i went to spruce hill christian school. matt has some connections and i was able to go in and take a christmas photo for them and also candids that they will hopefully be able to use for their website and brochures. what they do there is pretty cool. everyone was so welcoming and the kids were eager to get their picture taken. this is one of my favorites from the day. on the right is my man, quinton. he was my favorite and waved to me everytime he saw me. i like how the joy is expressed here as all the kids are so joyful at the school. i had lots of fun and may get to go back next year sometime.
