---

thank you all for your additions to the classic list. i definitely agree that 'rear window' is a good one.

it has been very busy for us here lately. matt went on a business trip last week and is going on another one next week. my photo business has been keeping me quite busy too.

i really like these pillows from crate and barrel i got in an email today.

although i don't think i have anywhere to put them at the moment.

my 'little sis' alyce is getting married on saturday.

wow mom. i can't belive she is going to be a wife. after being in all three of our weddings (and many many more), it is now her turn. i'm so excited for her and love her so much!!

and that concludes this very random post.

the classics.

i was told by heidi to read this book called 'love walked in' which she told me is based of the movie 'the philadelphia story.' heidi has never seen it, so i told her we would watch it together. but, then i proceeded to make a list of old movies we should watch. and then i proceeded to think, what would be on my list of best classic movies? so, here is my official list of favorite, classic movies:

roman holiday
philadelphia story
breakfast at tiffany's
shop around the corner
it happened one night
an affair to remember
some like it hot
mr. smith goes to washington
sabrina
north by northwest
that touch of mink

sub category-musicals:
HELLO DOLLY
easter parade
state fair
singin in the rain
guys and dolls
funny face

gidget

heidi, we have a lot of movies to watch :)

what am i missing and what would you add to the list?

real church

i am really lovin' this series that we are in right now at church, 'real church.' jared has been hitting each sermon out of the ballpark. i particularly liked 7.12 and this past sunday's sermons. a quote from sunday that jared used...

“Without true Christians loving one another, Christ says the world cannot be expected
to listen, even when we give proper answers. Let us be careful, indeed, to spend
a lifetime studying to give honest answers. But after we have done our best to
communicate to a lost world, still we must never forget that the final apologetic which
Jesus gives is the observable love of true Christians for true Christians. If the world
does not see this, it will not believe that Christ was sent by the Father.”
-Francis Schaeffer

each message is challenging and encouraging me. they are especially helpful as matt and i are starting up our college age community group. i would recommend listening to them if you haven't heard them yet. it's something i am definitely going to go back to often.
