peddlers v

last week, we took our favorite pollyanna reenie on a surprise trip to a quilting show at peddlers village. it ended up not being as big as kel thought it was going to be, but we saw some fine made quilts. and we had a lot of fun being together and taking "artistic pictures."

kelli whispering to me-"i didn't know peddlers village was this far away!"

the candle shop.

kelli giving hints to traci about a certain surprise...

she guessed it-cookies!!!

they spell it like we do!

we found this awesome hat shop! we didn't see until we left that they had a sign up that said "no pictures." but, we managed to get some good ones. this is traci with bubbles on her head.

matching hats.

we tried to go to the nut kettle where it's fun, but they were closed : (

no-body...get it?

we had to make a bathroom break and the only place open was the circus.

future astronaut of america.

and that concludes our trip to peddlers village with these fine people. they made my day.

peace

a dear friend emailed me this, this morning and i was greatly encouraged.

“Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. THE LORD IS AT HAND; do not be anxious about ANYTHING, but in EVERYTHING by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the PEACE of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:4-7

london, baby

two years ago this week, my sisters and i were in london. we took a 10 day trip and started out our travels in oxford, then went to bath, then spent a few days in wales with the greasley's and onward to london, where we spent most of our time. it was a dream of ours to all go together one day. we said that when i graduated college we would go. once we realized that would be too long, and me going to college would never happen, we decided to move it to when i graduated from high school, which did happen. and we actually did it in 2005! we had so much fun and i miss it there. i wanted to make a little ode to london and post some pictures. there are too many good ones, so i will post some of my favorites.

hands down, best abbey i've ever seen.

traci in her map.

mmm...treacle pudding.

does anyone know what's going on here?!

michelle, lauren and kel in oxford.

can you see kel and i?

welp

we ended up not watching the stigoras because matt and i were sick. so, we had a pretty uneventful weekend. but, last week some exciting things happened.

we bought this.

it's black.

and i can see my reflection in it.

i think it's a little bit of an old man's car, but matt loves it. hmmm...

some other thoughts-

-we also bought an xbox. matt+me+competition=uneasiness just thinking about it.

-matt helped my dye my hair on saturday. he tried.

-oatmeal is now my favorite food. next week i'm sure it will be something different.

-rob and amber are still amazing amazing racers.

-pray for the e-team in new orleans. my dear sharpie is heavy on my heart this week.

-thanks to deb for bringing in those donuts today!

-march madness is here. go boilers!

mmmm, noodle soup

here's a little bit of what's been going on at 825 s. high street and more.

-matt took me to the melting pot for my birthday dinner. we had quite a fondue feast. my favorite part was watching matt cook all the food. and then on we went down to philly where we went to a jazz cafe. i loved it.

-thanks to mom and dad, i'm going to see keith urban in august. another t, k, m and alyce adventure.

-yogurt is my new favorite food. that's pretty much what i've been living on the last two weeks cause i haven't been feeling all that well.

-my parents are in phoenix right now. my mom suprised my dad and took him away on friday. i was filled with envy as i dropped them off at the airport.

-matt and i spent all day saturday cleaning up our apartment. it's looking more like an apartment now. i have my favorite little corner which makes me burst out into song, 'in my own little corner, in my own little chair, i can be whoever i want to beeeee!'

-rob and amber are amazing amazing racers.

-cb eder is my new favorite speaker.

-shout out to emma. she turned 18 on friday. i heart her.

-matt wants to buy a new car tonight.

-the prestige is an incredible movie. on the box it says it's so good that right after you finish it, you want to watch it again. and you do.

-lunch trips in kitty litter don't quite fit anymore.

-sitting by my sisters in church makes for much giddiness.

-march madness is coming.

chow.
