the alleged update

ok, here is the first part of my 26 part update. we start out with traci and meg's best day ever. the day before i left for cancun, traci and i went to go see our favorite, kenny chesney. it was a blast...not only watching kenny, but the bald guy that was in our section. needless to say, it was a memory.

after a late night, we had to get up the next morning and catch our flight to cancun. every other year, matt's mom's side of the family does a big vacation together. this year it happened to be in cancun. here is jenny and matt our first night all together.

so, we had a great time. i enjoyed getting to know matt's family more and spending some time away with my hubby. but, it was terribly hot there. so, we were glad to come back home.

and once we did, we were thrown back into life pretty quick. matt was a groomsman in kyle and kate's wedding two days after we got back. and some of those photos are what's to come next.

first day

it's my first day working as receptionist. it's been pretty boring thus far. i think i'm going to like it. very much less stress.

last day

today is my last official day working in the finance office. it's sad, but i'm ready to be done. i'm glad i still get to work at the church and with the best of friends two days a week in a less stressful job.

so, since i'm only going to be working two days a week, that leaves me a lot of extra time i wasn't prepared for. in light of that, i wrote a list out of some things i'd like to do over the summer. things like spelunking and flying kites. but, here are the more important things.
-read
-pray
-take photos.
-help people out by babysitting, moving, etc.
-go to gburg with ange.
-have coffee with lots of ladies.
-learn more about photography.
-learn to cook. ha.
-help plan a wedding.
-finish up some projects in the apartment.
-go to the beach. lots.
-hang out with my sister, jenny.
-have bbq's.
-find ways to bless my husband.
-write.

i will be amazed if i do half of these things. but, i'm looking forward to the time off and being able to spend more time in the word. call me if you ever do anything fun : )

hey oh

i started training the person who's taking my job today. i'm not a very good trainer. it's becoming more real that i'm not going to be working in finance anymore. weird. if you didn't know, i'm taking a job at the church as a receptionist on monday and tuesday. i still want a little more work, so if you hear of anything, let me know. if not, i'll just be having fun with my camera instead. in fact, i'm thinking about getting the word out there a little more and letting people know i like taking photos. maybe that is a way i can make a little money on the side.

well, i haven't updated in awhile. i was super sick last week. i only worked 4 hours the entire week. but, i'm almost back to normal. or as normal as i can be. two weekends ago we took a road trip to indianapolis to visit some family and see the old sites. matt and i had lots of fun. on friday he surprised me by taking me to the indianapolis speedway. the race was that weekend and that day was fan day or something. they had a small race going on. i loved it. here are some pics of that and my two cutie little cousins.

not much else going on. the c-fel softball team is doing very well. they had a pretty exciting game last week and beat the best team in the league. they have a double header tonight and a few more games this week. matt is having fun and hittin' homers.

other than that, i'm just counting down the days (20) to cancun. i can't wait!

wow mom

a lot's been happening. so here's a massive (that's for you ange) update.
for mother's day, my sisters and i did a photo shoot to put some photos in a a frame for my mom. we laughed a lot while doing it. we had to retake some. and it was then said, 'we should do this every day after work!' it was fun and i eyes love them.

we went to a cubs game at citizens bank park where they played the phillies.

i took some senior pictures for my little sis.

we went to the beach in celebration of traci's birday. since rehoboth beach is known as the "gay beach" to some, this is traci and kel being JUST sisters.

and then yesterday was my dear sisters actual birday. i love you. we ARE two people.

some other things on my mind-

-kelli got a new camera! we can finally open our sister business called, 'the girls you're about to hire.'

-cancun in 1 month! jenny and i are planning a BIG shopping trip.

-i'm going to be helping out at youth camp. i'm very excited.

-two of my best friends are courting two very nice boys.

-steph is getting married in less that 2 months!!

-who's going to win american idol??

-i went to the auto auction the other day...intresting to say the least.

-we're going to my home sweet home of indiana this weekend. can't wait!

-the cfc softball game is coming off a big win and will hopefully pull out another tonight.
