after a late night, we had to get up the next morning and catch our flight to cancun. every other year, matt's mom's side of the family does a big vacation together. this year it happened to be in cancun. here is jenny and matt our first night all together.

so, we had a great time. i enjoyed getting to know matt's family more and spending some time away with my hubby. but, it was terribly hot there. so, we were glad to come back home.and once we did, we were thrown back into life pretty quick. matt was a groomsman in kyle and kate's wedding two days after we got back. and some of those photos are what's to come next.

it was SO fun to have YOU, our new (and only) daughter in law with us! the beach was hot, the food was plentiful and the kids were noisy, but it was delightful to have the newlyweds along on our family trip . . .the first of many!
