last night we decided to head over to landmark in the borough to watch game 7 of the alcs. we not only ran into my parents there, but phillies pitcher cole hamels. the waitress came over and gave us the tip that he was there. so matt got up to "go to the bathroom" so he could catch a glimpse. then we left and he was still there chomping away at his meal...needs his strength for the world series. there was a range rover outside and i said to matt,'that's probably his car.' so, matt says, 'let's put a piece of paper on it that says 'go phillies!' and we did. hope it was his car! go phils!
other happenings this weekend-
-hanging out with joe & heidi and finding out heidi is an amazing euchre player. joe is a cheater.
-matt went to the college age retreat with jim and his fellow investors. the brakes went out on the church van and one pastor and the future leaders of covenant fellowship church almost died.
-mom and i had lots of fun together saturday scouting out the goodwill and spray painting my filing cabinets. they turned out very well. pictures to come, but we need the top part of it first.
-going to barnes and nobles to get a new comment book and finding that they now have colored moleskins!! my green one makes me so happy.
-jared's first message at church as senior pastor!
-watching scary movies and having very weird dreams.
