priceless

i'm sitting here at my in-laws watching the NFL draft with my husband and father-in-law. needless to say, i'm a little bored. i needed something to amuse myself. this is quite possibly my favorite commercial ever. i thought i'd share.

all by myself...

some of you may now, matt has left me at home while traveling around for "work." last week he had the opportunity to go to the masters for a few days. he loved it and i'm going to get him to do a 'post this' post on it cause he has lots to tell about it. he was home for a few days and then left early this morning to go down to cabo san lucas, mexico. that is actually where we spent out honeymoon and he is staying at the exact same hotel we did, but this time he is sharing a room with his co-worker jeff : ) i hope to get some things done this week, especially around the house, while he is gone. and hopefully get to spend some time with my girls. tonight, traci and i did some shopping, ate sonic, and laughed a lot. it's nice to have a few days to myself, but will definitely be wanting matt to come home by the time sunday comes.

here's some photos of corey's birthday celebration:

the boys spent most of the night on the computer looking for houses.

dad watching the ncaa finals and trying not to fall asleep.

the 3 stooges and i on an overcrowded couch.

traci might get mad at me for this...

and it's been so nice out lately, i've been playing with the little dudes downstairs after work. this is what greets us when we come home everyday...

i have no idea what micah's doing here...he's the silly one.

silas doing the rock on sign going down the slide. we have no idea where he learned this.

they are the cutest and i love them so much. i can't wait for their brother, levi, to arrive any day now. pray for vicki!!

adios.

kimi joy

not much has been going on around here. but, i did a senior photo shoot with kimi last week, so i thought i'd post some of my favorites. it was one of my favorite photo shoots i've done (which i haven't really done that many) because kimi is gorgeous and the backdrop was unique ridley creek state park...

besides photo shoots, we went to opening night of the phillies game last week with mike and sarah. mike and matt looove the phillies, so sarah and i sUprised them (well, sorta) with tickets. it was cold and the phillies lost, but we had fun.
tonight we are going to hang out with my family for corey's (belated) birthday!

have fun storming the castle.

desert or dessert?

i remember when i was littler, to help me differentiate spelling with desert (the place) and dessert (the food), mom would tell me dessert is with two s's cause you always want more dessert. isn't that the case. well, i'm missing everyone's comments, so i decided to do a little questionnaire on dessert to get some participation. i saw this and thought it was fun.

If all of the desserts listed below were sitting in front of you, which would you choose ?? Just go with your first instinct, the first dessert you choose. Pick your dessert, and then look to see what psychiatrists think about you.

Here are your choices:
1. Angel Food Cake
2. Brownies
3. Lemon Meringue Pie
4. Vanilla Cake With Chocolate Icing
5. Strawberry Short Cake
6. Chocolate on Chocolate
7. Ice Cream
8. Carrot Cake
------------------------

1 ANGEL FOOD CAKE -- Sweet, loving, cuddly. You love all warm and fuzzy items. A little nutty at times! Sometimes you need an ice cream cone at the end of the day. Others perceive you as being childlike and immature at times.

2. BROWNIES - - You are adventurous, love new ideas, and are a champion of underdogs and a slayer of dragons. When tempers flare up you whip out your saber. You are always the oddball with a unique sense of humor and direction. You tend to be very loyal.

3. LEMON MERINGUE -- Smooth & articulate with your hands, you are an excellent after-dinner speaker and a good teacher. But don't try to walk and chew gum at the same time. A bit of a diva at times, but you have many friends..

4. VANILLA CAKE WITH CHOCOLATE ICING -- Fun-loving, sassy, humorous, not very grounded in life; very indecisive and lack motivation. Everyone enjoys being around you, but you are a practical joker. Others should be cautious in making you mad. However, you are a friend for life.

5. STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE -- Romantic, warm, and loving. You care about other people, can be counted on in a pinch and expect the same in return. Intuitively keen, and can be very emotional.

6. CHOCOLATE ON CHOCOLATE -- Very creative, adventurous, ambitious, and passionate. You can appear to have a cold exterior but are warm on the inside. Not afraid to take chances. Will not settle for anything average in life. Love to laugh.

7. ICE CREAM -- You like sports, whether it be baseball, football, basketball, or soccer. If you could, you would like to participate, but you enjoy watching sports. You don't like to give up the remote control. You tend to be self-centered and high maintenance.

8. CARROT CAKE -- You are a very fun loving person, who likes to laugh. You are fun to be with. People like to hang out with you. You are a very warm hearted person and a little quirky at times. You have many loyal friends.

so which one are you?! i would pick the brownies.

what's for dinner?

we've given the blog an extreme easter makeover. i don't expect it to last long as you pretty much need sunglasses to look at it. but, i'm excited about easter. this is the only time of year that i eat peeps, which i love, but it freaks me out when they make them for every other holiday.

a thank you to everyone who answered my previous question. makes sense.

we've been busy around here lately...hanging out with friends, baby showers (meg), fantasy baseball drafts (matt), work, photoing, and celebrating matt's 1/2 birthday (thanks mom for the cookie cake). and things don't seem to be slowing down in the near future.

i made this recipe for dinner last night that i got from real simple, and let me tell you, it was really simple. but, i had a problem with the cheese and chicken sticking together. if you make it and find a solution, let me know. and also, if you have any good recipes that don't include tomatoes, onions, potatoes(all the things matt doesn't like) please let me know. i'm always in need of some new dinner ideas.

if i don't blog before this weekend, everyone have a lovely easter!
